Lisa Bedbak is a South Asian author from Ann Arbor, Michigan who will be discussing her new book, My Cries and My Triumphs. The book focuses on Bedbak’s personal life experiences and explores the intergenerational impacts of domestic violence. Event is hosted by Awaaz San Antonio, a non- profit working with South Asians affected by domestic violence in South Texas and surrounding areas. This event is free and open to the public.
